ALL THE WAY TO THE BORDER
January 26, 2019 @ 8:40 am - 12:00 pm

Anyone who wants to help clean up Humane Border’s mile should meet
in front of Humane Borders at 8:40 am
Humane Borders is participating in a “All the Way to the Border” cleanup of Arizona State Route 286 on Saturday, January 26th. The cleanup is sponsored by Rancho Sierra Vista de Sasabe with help from the Alter Valley Conservation Alliance, Arizona Department of Transportation, Trico Electric Cooperative and Pima County/Tucson Recycling and Waste Services. Humane Borders sponsors a mile on Route 286 but will also help clean up other areas as needed.
We will meet in front of Humane Borders at 243 W. 33rd Street at 8:40 am that Saturday and car pool down to the Three Ponts/Robles Junction Community Center at 16150 West Ajo Highway. There will be a short safety meeting there at 9:30. Volunteers will get trash bags and safety vests there and then drop off the vests and filled bags on the way back. The event should be over about noon.
