Anyone who wants to help clean up Humane Border’s mile should meet in front of Humane Borders at 9 am
Rancho Sierra Vista de Sasabe, the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance and Arizona Department of Transportation are at it again this year! Bring your sturdy shoes, gloves and your trusty trash-pickers to the Three Points Community Center at 10 am so we can head out for a few hours of fresh air, 45 miles of fantastic scenery and free food courtesy of TRICO Electric Cooperative and prepared by the San Fernando School Parents Assoc. Highway 286 runs through the beautiful Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge so there’ll be plenty of opportunities for birding, hiking and picnicking. Or spend the afternoon in Arivaca at the Memories and Music Festival. Last year, we cleaned 90 bags of trash off this roadway — let’s go for a new record this time!
