This information has proved valuable to families of the missing, academic researchers, news media and other interested individuals. Humane Borders uses it in collaboration with land owners and managers to determine where water stations will be most helpful in preventing migrant deaths.

Warning Posters - Información y Advertecias Para Migrantes

Humane Borders has developed posters for distribution on the south side of the U.S. – Mexico border. These posters warn potential undocumented migrants (“Don’t do it! It’s hard! There’s not enough water!”) of the dangers they face trying to cross through the desert on foot. The posters include estimated walking times from various entry points, as well as the sites of migrant deaths and the location of water stations.
